This piece uses play to explore ecological balance as it relates to human intervention. At its center is a gesture-controlled video game where the player points at falling leaves and insects to collect them in a jar. It requires the player to contribute money to either insect or plant conservation before they can play. The contributions are cumulative from player to player, permanently affecting the balance of the video game environment. If more money has been given to the insect fund more insects and fewer leaves will fall and vise versa. For the player to find success in the game they have to maintain a balance of insects and plants in their jar.
